What is Coaching?
Ultimately, coaching is about empowerment and assisting an individual to look within themselves and find their own answers to situations that may be hindering progress and creating unfulfilling lives.
This can relate to so many different areas:-
- Lack of promotion at work or an unfulfilled career/academic goal
- Stagnant personal relationships
- Crippling financial situations
- Inability to make decisions because of the fear of the unknown
- Repeating the same mistakes over and over
- Not being able to say “No!”
- Being a people pleaser but getting no pleasure
- Feeling ‘stuck’ in life with no clear direction….
A Coach works 1-2-1 with their client to help them acquire the right ‘tools’.
These tools will enable them to:-
- Face and manage challenging situations with confidence
- Acknowledge and break through emotional barriers
- Relinquish the feeling of fear about the ‘What If’s?’
- Have a brighter, more positive approach to living and being
- Become assertive not aggressive
- Feel free and in control!
My coaching is based around 4 core principles:-
I will support you to:-
- Accept where you are right now – this is your starting point of the rest of your life
- Make informed and beneficial decisions – with a clear head and purposeful vision
- Develop a plan and learn how to stick to it!
- Forgive yourself for what you have or haven’t done – regret will only keep you living in the past
- Forgive others who you believe have had a negative impact – it’s time to move through that pain
